Indonesia Joins the BRICS as Full Member

The Brazilian government, which has the chairmanship of the BRICS in 2025, announced on Jan. 6 the entry of Indonesia as the tenth full member of the BRICS group, just days after it had been admitted as one of nine new partner countries on Jan. 1 (cf. SAS 2/25). The membership of Indonesia had alre
